AP Collective ranking of the best crypto Reddit marketing agencies in 2026

Best Reddit Marketing for Crypto in 2026

We screened 30 providers against the checks a subreddit moderator would run. 13 made the list, and we found an independent review mentioning Reddit for only 1 of them.

Which Crypto Reddit Agencies Can Prove Their Work?

The best crypto Reddit marketing agencies in 2026 are AP Collective, GuerrillaBuzz, ICODA, Single Grain and Blockchain App Factory, followed by 8 providers that document Reddit work in less depth.

We checked 30 providers' public pages in 2026. 13 passed. The other 17 either had no Reddit service on their own site, or sold the vote manipulation that Reddit bans.

"Every agency we speak to says it does Reddit.

Which of them has actually done it?"

  • That is the question this list answers. Reddit now appears on almost every crypto agency's services page, and it is easy to list. It is much harder to show how the agency's accounts post, what it reports and who outside the agency has seen the work.
  • The stakes went up this year. Reddit averaged 130.3 million daily active uniques in Q2 2026, up 18% year on year, according to its Q2 2026 results filed with the SEC.
  • In August 2026 it was also the most-cited domain overall across ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, AI Overviews and Perplexity in Obsurfable's LLM citation report.
  • So a thread about your project no longer stays on Reddit, because it now shapes what an AI assistant tells the next person who asks about you.

A note on the order. This is AP Collective's blog and AP Collective leads this guide as its profile faces the same 5 checks as every other entry, and the matrix shows where it trails. Positions 2 to 13 follow the scores.

This AP Collective list covers who to hire for crypto Reddit work and how to vet them.

Key Takeaways

  • Most crypto agencies can't document Reddit work.
    • 10 of the 30 providers we screened had no Reddit service on their own site, and 3 more sold upvotes or bulk posting that Reddit's rules prohibit.
  • Disclosure is the rarest promise.
    • Only 2 of the 13 shortlisted agencies state that their own Reddit participation is disclosed.
  • Independent proof is thinner still.
    • GuerrillaBuzz is the only provider for which we found a third-party review that mentions Reddit. 7 others have third-party reviews, but none we read mention it.
  • Your token can't be advertised on Reddit.
    • Reddit's ad policy bans ads for single tokens, ICOs and IDOs, and exchanges or wallets need a Reddit sales representative.
  • Ask for reports, not reach.
    • Only 4 of the 13 name 2 or more Reddit metrics beyond upvotes and comment counts.
  • Budget from about $5,000.
    • Where shortlisted providers list Clutch minimums, they run from $5,000+ to $10,000+ a project. The cheapest Reddit packages we found started at $29.99, with upvotes bundled from $59.99. Prices may vary though.

Who Made the Shortlist and Who We Screened Out

An agency made this list if its own website described Reddit work, showed crypto or fintech clients and did not sell manipulation. 13 of the 30 providers we screened passed all 3 tests.

The candidate pool came from search results for crypto Reddit agencies, published agency rankings, Clutch's Reddit advertising category and the agencies profiled in our own community and social media rankings. Each candidate then had to clear 3 gates:

  1. Reddit is documented on the provider's own site. A service page, a service line or an article describing at least 1 Reddit deliverable the provider runs. A mention in someone else's directory did not count.
  2. Crypto or fintech work is documented on the provider's own site. Named clients, a crypto service page or a fintech Reddit offer.
  3. Nothing on sale that Reddit bans. No upvote packages, vote services, account rental or bulk posting from multiple accounts per person.
Screening funnel showing 30 crypto Reddit providers screened and 13 shortlisted in September 2026Screening funnel showing 30 crypto Reddit providers screened and 13 shortlisted in September 2026

We are not naming the 17 providers that missed. Several are capable agencies that simply don't document Reddit, and listing them beside vote sellers would be unfair to them. The pattern is the useful part.

The 3 manipulation offers are worth describing, because they turn up on real shortlists:

  • Post packages with upvotes. $29.99 buys 1 post and 2 supporting comments. $89.99 buys 5 posts, 8 comments and 20 to 100 upvotes.
  • A self-serve upvote service. Sold alongside aged accounts sourced "to seed genuine-looking participation".
  • A shilling plan. 6,000+ messages a week across platforms including Reddit, posted by 16 people who each hold at least 2 to 3 accounts per network.

Reddit's rules cover all 3. Its Disrupting Communities policy, updated May 19, 2026, bans "Creating and employing multiple accounts, voting services, or any automation to manipulate vote counts" and "coordinated voting with an organized group of people (or bots)". An agency selling any of the 3 is selling you a ban.

How We Compared Them: The Reddit Proof Check

The Reddit Proof Check is AP Collective's method for comparing Reddit agencies: 5 questions, answered only from what each provider publishes, with every answer labelled self-reported or independent. There are no points and no weighting. The matrix shows what each agency actually says, in its own words where possible, and "Not stated" where it says nothing.

It asks what a subreddit moderator would want to know about anyone posting for a brand:

  1. Reddit services. What does the provider say it actually does on Reddit?
  2. Accounts and disclosure. Whose accounts post, are they disclosed and is vote manipulation ruled out?
  3. Moderators and rules. How does it handle each subreddit's rules and its moderators?
  4. Reporting. Which Reddit metrics does it report beyond upvotes and comments?
  5. Evidence. What proof exists, and does any of it come from outside the agency?
The Reddit Proof Check: 5 questions used to compare crypto Reddit marketing agenciesThe Reddit Proof Check: 5 questions used to compare crypto Reddit marketing agencies

Ordering logic, stated plainly: AP Collective sits at number 1 as the publisher. Positions 2 to 13 fall into 4 tiers, ordered by how much of each agency's Reddit work a buyer can verify before signing, from outside proof down to a single line on a services page. A third-party review that mentions Reddit puts a provider in the top tier. Next come providers that document their Reddit scope, practices and reporting, then those that document scope and practices without reporting. Reddit as 1 line in a wider service comes last. Inside each tier, review count decides.

Self-reported means the agency said it. Independent means someone outside the agency did, usually a verified client review on Clutch.

What we deliberately did not rank on: client logos, follower counts, claimed reach, awards and price. None of them tells you whether a thread will survive moderation. Price appears in each profile as information only.

Every page was checked on September 30, 2026, and we will re-check each provider within 90 days.

The Reddit Proof Check: 13 Crypto Reddit Agencies Compared

Disclosure is where the field is thinnest: only AP Collective and GuerrillaBuzz state that their own Reddit participation is disclosed, and only GuerrillaBuzz has a third-party review that mentions Reddit. Here is what all 13 publish, checked on September 30, 2026.

Read the matrix by column. All 13 document Reddit services, because that was the entry bar. 11 say something about rules or moderators. 5 describe Reddit reporting beyond upvotes and comments, and 2 state that their participation is disclosed. So most agencies will tell you what they do on Reddit, and very few will tell you how their accounts identify themselves while doing it.

Rows 3 to 5 show how similar pages can hide different risks. ICODA, Single Grain and Blockchain App Factory all document their scope and reporting in detail. ICODA and Single Grain have Clutch reviews behind them, while Blockchain App Factory has none we could find.

The 13 Crypto Reddit Agencies, Profiled

Each profile below cites the provider's own pages for what it offers and labels every piece of evidence as self-reported or independent. Every page was checked on September 30, 2026.

Crypto Reddit Marketing Agencies | AP Collective, 2026Crypto Reddit Marketing Agencies | AP Collective, 2026

1. AP Collective

AP Collective is a full-stack crypto growth agency that runs Reddit inside a wider community programme rather than as a standalone channel. It has delivered 600+ campaigns and reached 100M+ users, and it reports millions of Reddit impressions generated for clients. Best of Best Review named it the Best Crypto Marketing Agency of 2026.

AP Collective | Top Crypto Agency for Reddit MarketingAP Collective | Top Crypto Agency for Reddit Marketing
  • Best for: Crypto teams that want Reddit run alongside KOL, community and PR work by 1 accountable team.
  • Documented Reddit scope: "a managed service: genuine, disclosed participation run inside a broader community program", plus AMA preparation and delivery and Reddit sentiment tracking, per AP's crypto Reddit marketing guide.
  • Moderation and disclosure: The guide sets the method: "a real, disclosed identity or a clearly labelled official brand account", with each subreddit's rules learned and the community read daily before anything is posted. It rules out bought upvotes and shills: "One exposure torches trust and gets you banned."
  • Reporting: AP "folds Reddit sentiment into the reporting on your program", covering the signals its guide lists: recurring complaints, which messages get repeated back correctly and sentiment around competitors.
  • Evidence: Millions of Reddit impressions for clients, shared publicly by founder Abhi on X (post 1, post 2). Independent: 5.0 on Clutch (Clutch Certified in crypto marketing); Best Crypto Marketing Agency of 2026 from Best of Best Review; top-rated on Trustpilot from 7 reviews. The reviews cover its wider campaign work rather than Reddit specifically.
  • Price signal: Scoped per programme. AP's guide puts agency-run organic Reddit at $2,000 to $6,000 a month across the market.
  • Not a fit if: You want a one-off Reddit post, guaranteed upvotes or a presence without a real spokesperson. Its Reddit practice is documented in its guide rather than on a service page, and its case studies, such as MEXC with 380+ creators activated, cover creator and community work, so ask for a Reddit walkthrough before you sign.
  • Website: apcollective.io

2. GuerrillaBuzz

GuerrillaBuzz is a Tel Aviv crypto PR and marketing agency founded in 2017, according to its Clutch profile. Its Reddit service page is the most complete we found, and it is the only provider with a third-party review that mentions Reddit.

Guerrilla BuzzGuerrilla Buzz
  • Best for: Disclosed AMAs, subreddit-by-subreddit strategy and reputation clean-up after a bad thread.
  • Documented Reddit scope: "Sub-by-sub strategy / Aged organic accounts / AMA production / Crisis & reputation cleanup / Content seeding / Monthly reporting", per its crypto Reddit service page.
  • Moderation and disclosure: "AMAs are disclosed, mod-approved, and clearly attributed to the project." The page also states: "Reddit forbids vote manipulation, undisclosed promotion, and ban evasion. We do none of those." Accounts are "Real users on the team, with real karma history. No bots, no purchased accounts."
  • Reporting: "Upvotes, comments, traffic, signups, brand sentiment per sub", delivered monthly.
  • Evidence: Self-reported: dashboard figures on the service page (612k Reddit reach over 30 days, 78% positive sentiment) with no named client. Independent: 4.8 on Clutch from 2 reviews, 1 of which says the agency helped a client engage its audience "through various channels, such as social media, events, and Reddit".
  • Price signal: Clutch minimum project size of $10,000+.
  • Not a fit if: You need deep review volume, because 2 Clutch reviews is a thin sample. Also ask how content seeded from team-held "aged organic accounts" is disclosed, since the page describes only the AMAs as disclosed.
  • Website: guerrillabuzz.com

3. ICODA

ICODA is a crypto marketing agency founded in 2017 and headquartered in Wrocław, Poland, per its Clutch profile, where it also appears in Clutch's Reddit advertising category. Its Reddit offer is built around search: threads designed to rank in Google and surface in AI answers.

IcodaIcoda
  • Best for: Reddit threads built for Google rankings and AI citations.
  • Documented Reddit scope: "Strategic Thread Creation," "Comment Seeding & Engagement," "Subreddit Research & Mapping," "AI Search Optimization (GEO for Reddit)," "Community Reputation Management" and "Reddit-to-Google SEO", per its Reddit service page, updated June 16, 2026.
  • Moderation and disclosure: Subreddit research and mapping is a named deliverable, and content is written "to feel native to each subreddit's culture". ICODA posts from its own accounts, which "have established karma, posting history, and community trust". The page does not say whether those accounts disclose the client relationship.
  • Reporting: "thread engagement (upvotes, comments, saves), traffic attribution to your website, brand sentiment across target subreddits, Google indexing of Reddit content, and AI citation frequency".
  • Evidence: Self-reported: an anonymised crypto wallet case study from February 2026 reports threads reaching top Google positions for "[brand] reddit" searches and says "~5% of participants were organic Reddit users". Independent: 5.0 on Clutch from 31 reviews, though none we read mention Reddit.
  • Price signal: Clutch minimum of $10,000+ at $25 to $49 an hour.
  • Not a fit if: Your compliance team requires disclosed participation. Ask how the other participants in those wallet threads were sourced and whether they disclosed.
  • Website: icoda.io

4. Single Grain

Clutch lists Single Grain as a Los Angeles growth agency founded in 2009. It runs a dedicated Reddit service for fintech brands, and its crypto marketing page lists Bittrex, Immutable, ENS Domains and SEI Network among its clients.

Single GrainSingle Grain
  • Best for: Exchanges, wallets and fintech-style crypto products that need Reddit tied to sign-ups.
  • Documented Reddit scope: "Fintech Subreddit Strategy, Reddit Ad Campaign Management, Financial Content Creation, Community Management, Influencer Collaboration, Analytics & Optimization, Fintech Conversion Optimization", per its fintech Reddit page, updated February 13, 2025.
  • Moderation and disclosure: It aims to "build authority without triggering Reddit's anti-promotion filters or regulatory red flags" and says content meets "strict financial service regulations". There is no statement on disclosure or vote manipulation.
  • Reporting: Tracks "how Reddit engagement translates to fintech-specific actions like app downloads, account registrations, and financial product adoption".
  • Evidence: Self-reported: the crypto client list, with no Reddit case study. Independent: 4.8 on Clutch from 12 reviews. Reddit and crypto come up in none of them.
  • Price signal: Clutch minimum of $10,000+.
  • Not a fit if: You want a crypto-native team that lives in crypto subreddits. The Reddit offer is written for fintech, and the crypto page mentions Reddit once.
  • Website: singlegrain.com

5. Blockchain App Factory

Blockchain App Factory is a token development and crypto marketing company. Its Reddit offer is described in its own long-form guide rather than on a service page, but the description is unusually specific.

Blockchain App FactoryBlockchain App Factory
  • Best for: Projects that want an owned subreddit, AMAs and compliant Reddit Ads in 1 package.
  • Documented Reddit scope: "mention audits and subreddit mapping through account standing, technical content production, moderator relationships, and structured AMAs, into owned subreddit builds, compliant Reddit Ads campaigns, and AI citation monitoring", per its crypto Reddit marketing guide, updated August 3, 2026.
  • Moderation and disclosure: Subreddit mapping and moderator relationships are both named. Disclosure is not addressed.
  • Reporting: "we report on referral traffic, citation share, and conversion rather than upvote counts".
  • Evidence: Self-reported: client results for NEAR, Polygon and Hedera on its crypto marketing agency page, none of them Reddit-specific. Independent: none found.
  • Price signal: Packages from $7,500 (Starter Launch), $15,000 (Growth Launch) and $30,000 (Market Leader), on a page last updated September 2026.
  • Not a fit if: You need proof before you pay. Nothing public shows its Reddit work, so ask for a Reddit-specific case and a client you can call.
  • Website: blockchainappfactory.com

Reddit readers who like what they see usually move to your Discord or Telegram next. AP Collective's community management team runs those channels day to day, so the trust a good thread builds doesn't leak away. See community management or book a call.

6. Coinbound

Coinbound is a New York crypto marketing agency founded in 2018, per its Clutch profile, whose community management page lists Sui, Gala, Cosmos, Tron, Nexo and MetaMask among its clients. Reddit sits inside its social media service rather than on a page of its own.

CoinboundCoinbound
  • Best for: Teams that want Reddit handled as part of a wider social retainer.
  • Documented Reddit scope: "We support you to make the most of Reddit by creating tailored strategies that get you involved in relevant conversations and grow your presence in key subreddits", with posts and comment replies handled by the team, per its social media page, updated January 13, 2026.
  • Moderation and disclosure: Its June 2026 Reddit guide warns that "Bought accounts, VPNs, and coordinated upvotes are detectable" and that moderators "treat brand accounts as guilty until proven useful". It doesn't say how its own accounts disclose.
  • Reporting: Not described for Reddit.
  • Evidence: Self-reported: the client list, with no Reddit case study. Independent: 5.0 on Clutch from 14 reviews, with no mention of Reddit.
  • Price signal: Clutch minimum of $10,000+ at $150 to $199 an hour.
  • Not a fit if: You need a Reddit-specific reporting spec. Ask what a month of Reddit work produces and how it is measured.
  • Website: coinbound.io

7. Crowdcreate

Crowdcreate is a growth agency founded in 2014 in Irvine, California, according to Clutch. Its crypto marketing page lists The Sandbox, Star Atlas, KuCoin and BitMEX among its clients.

CrowdcreateCrowdcreate
  • Best for: Gaming, NFT and metaverse projects that want Reddit inside a wider community push.
  • Documented Reddit scope: Its crypto Reddit strategy page, first published in August 2021 and last modified in July 2024, covers community building, Reddit ads, AMAs, cross-promotions and moderator outreach. It lists no deliverables or packages.
  • Moderation and disclosure: The page warns that breaking a community's unwritten rules "could get you downvoted to oblivion, banned, or even have your Crypto platform shadow banned". There is no statement on disclosure.
  • Reporting: Not described.
  • Evidence: Self-reported: "raised $250 million for crypto and Web3 startups" and "over 600 projects" on its crypto page. Independent: 3.8 on Clutch from 11 reviews, the lowest rating on this list. A Kyber Network reviewer says "Crowdcreate has a strong presence in the crypto industry", but none of the reviews mention Reddit.
  • Price signal: Not published.
  • Not a fit if: You want current Reddit documentation. The Reddit page predates 2025, so ask what has changed since.

  • Documented Reddit scope: "Creating engaging content, managing community interactions, leveraging Reddit's advertising options", per its crypto Reddit agencies article, dated July 24, 2024.
  • Moderation and disclosure: It claims "Strong relationships with KOL influencers and key Reddit communities". Nothing more specific on rules, moderators or disclosure.
  • Reporting: Not described.

  • Price signal: Clutch minimum of $5,000+ at $50 to $99 an hour.

  • Website: awisee.com

9. LuvKaizen

LuvKaizen grew out of KOLHQ into a full-service crypto marketing agency, per a June 2026 Nerdbot profile. Its dedicated Reddit page has the clearest rules-first language on this list after GuerrillaBuzz.

  • Documented Reddit scope: "Subreddit strategy and engagement, organic thread and comment campaigns, AMAs in relevant communities, community management, and compliant Reddit Ads", per its crypto Reddit page.
  • Moderation and disclosure: It checks "rules before we scope creative, subreddit by subreddit, before a single post ever gets drafted or scheduled" and adds: "We would rather move slower and stay welcome than post fast and get the brand blacklisted." It doesn't address disclosure.
  • Reporting: Not described.
  • Evidence: None found, self-reported or independent.

  • Moderation and disclosure: The page advises that "It's vital that you get legal advice before beginning your Reddit crypto marketing campaign". It says nothing about subreddit rules, moderators or disclosure.
  • Reporting: Upvotes and organic traffic are named as goals. No reporting is described.
  • Evidence: Self-reported: an AMA case with "2.7k Attendees", not identified as a Reddit AMA. Independent: none found.
  • Price signal: Not published.
  • Not a fit if: You can't get a clear answer on what "Boost Reddit Upvotes" means in practice. Ask before signing, because paid or coordinated votes break Reddit's rules.

Why This List Stops at 13

We set out to rank 15.

Only 13 providers cleared the 3 gates, and filling the last 2 slots would have meant listing agencies that sell upvotes or never mention Reddit on their own sites.

That would defeat the purpose of a list built on evidence.

The evidence itself splits 3 ways.

  • 1 provider has an independent review that mentions Reddit. 7 have independent reviews that don't.
  • The remaining 5 rely entirely on what they say about themselves. If an agency you like sits in that last group, the fix is simple: ask for a Reddit client you can call.

Matching Agencies to Crypto Project Types

Your project type decides what Reddit will even let you run. That should decide the agency. Reddit's financial and cryptocurrency ads policy prohibits ads for "Single tokens, coins, cryptocurrencies, and other types of individual and tradable crypto assets, including ads for ICOs, IDOs, and other types of token sales", while exchanges, wallets and NFT marketplaces sit in a restricted category that requires "direct management from a Reddit Sales representative".

The token row is the one to read twice. If your only goal is the token itself, paid Reddit is closed to you, and any agency that promises Reddit Ads for a token sale either hasn't read the policy or plans to break it.

Planning Reddit alongside creators? AP Collective has run 700+ KOL activations across 150+ projects since 2022, so a Reddit AMA and a creator push can land in the same week. See influencer marketing or talk to us.

When Hiring a Reddit Agency Is the Wrong Move

Hire a Reddit agency when you have a live product, a spokesperson and the patience for a 90-day ramp. Skip it when what you actually want is token ads or guaranteed upvotes.

Our crypto Reddit marketing guide puts it bluntly: hire one "when you lack the in-house time and patience to participate consistently for months". That is the job. An agency buys you consistency, not a shortcut.

Hire an agency if:

  • Your product is live and a Reddit reader can try it today.
  • A founder or engineer will front AMAs and answer the hard questions first.
  • You can give the work 90 days before judging it.
  • Nobody on your team has the hours to participate every day.

Skip the agency if:

  • You want paid Reddit reach for the token itself.
  • You want guaranteed upvotes or a front-page promise.
  • You need results inside a launch week.
  • A respected member of your team is already active in the subreddits that matter.
  • You can't yet answer who will post, from which account and with what disclosure.

If the in-house route fits better, our comparison of in-house and agency crypto marketing covers the trade-offs.

What Reddit's Rules Mean for Any Agency You Hire

4 rules decide whether an agency's Reddit work is safe: Reddit's ban on vote manipulation, its spam guidance, its disclosure tag and, for US audiences, the FTC's ban on fake social media indicators. Each maps to a question you can ask in the first call.

What an Agency Might Pitch

The Rule

What to Ask

Upvotes or "early momentum"

Reddit's Disrupting Communities policy bans "voting services" and "coordinated voting"

Will any account you control vote on our posts?

Several accounts per team member

The same policy bans "Creating and employing multiple accounts" to move votes

How many accounts will post about us, and who owns them?

Undisclosed posts from agency accounts

Reddit's Brand Affiliate tag exists for posts that are "incentivized or having commercial intent"

Will every post about us carry the tag or come from a labelled brand account?

Bought followers or engagement

The FTC's final rule bans "Selling or buying fake indicators of social media influence"

Will you confirm in the contract that you buy no engagement?

Frequent links to your own site

Reddit's spam guidance asks businesses to "be thoughtful about the frequency of posting"

What share of posts will link to us?

Ads for your token

Reddit's ads policy prohibits token, ICO and IDO ads

Which of our products are eligible for Reddit Ads?

The FTC rule, announced on August 14, 2024, also lets the FTC "seek civil penalties against knowing violators". Your brand can be named in that case alongside the vendor you paid.

Our position is simple. Don't let any agency seed threads about you from accounts it controls unless every post carries a Brand Affiliate tag or comes from a labelled brand account. 5 of the 30 providers we screened sell aged or high-karma accounts as a feature, including 2 on this list. We treat those accounts as the practice most likely to end in a screenshot.

What Crypto Reddit Agencies Charge: Dated Public Offers

None of the 13 publishes a Reddit-only price. The public signals we found on September 30, 2026 put a first engagement at $5,000 to $10,000+, with bundled monthly packages from $7,500.

3 things stand out:

  1. Hourly rates vary 8x. Listed rates run from $25 at the low end to $199 at the top, so 40 hours of Reddit work can cost 8x more depending on who does it.
  2. Every published package bundles Reddit. Reddit sits alongside other channels, so its share of the fee is invisible. Ask for it as a separate line.
  3. Media is extra. AP's guide estimates self-serve Reddit Ads at roughly $0.40 to $2.00+ per click, and exchanges, wallets and NFT products in Reddit's restricted category must buy through a Reddit sales representative anyway.

Budget for 90 days, not 1 month. The ramp in our guide spends month 1 reading, month 2 contributing and only month 3 converting, so a 30-day contract measures the part of the work that isn't supposed to pay yet.

The cheapest offers we found were not on this list at all. They were the $29.99 post packages from the screening, and by $59.99 they included upvotes.

Budgeting for an AMA? AP Collective finds, books and preps founder appearances, from AMAs to Spaces, then distributes them afterwards. See podcasts and AMAs or get in touch.

What a Useful Reddit Report Contains

A useful Reddit report shows which threads survived moderation, what people said about you, where the traffic went and whether AI answers now cite those threads. Upvotes and karma belong at the bottom, if they appear at all.

Here is the gap in the market. Only 5 providers on this list describe reporting beyond vanity metrics: AP Collective, GuerrillaBuzz, ICODA, Blockchain App Factory and Single Grain. None of the 13 names thread survival or removal rate on its own pages, even though it is the metric a moderator creates. Ask for it by name.

AI citations deserve their own line because they move fast. In August 2026 Reddit held 16.7% of citation share among top sources in ChatGPT, 19.9% in Google AI Mode, 18.5% in AI Overviews and 13.9% in Perplexity, per Obsurfable's report. A year earlier, Semrush's 13-week study of 230,000 prompts watched ChatGPT cite Reddit in close to 60% of responses in early August 2025, then around 10% by mid-September.

That swing is the reason to track citations monthly and to distrust any agency that guarantees them. A thread can be a top source in 1 month and invisible in the next, for reasons nobody on Reddit controls.

ChatGPT responses citing Reddit fell from close to 60% to around 10% in 2025ChatGPT responses citing Reddit fell from close to 60% to around 10% in 2025

Sentiment moves just as quickly. Our guide to crypto sentiment analysis covers how to read it, and AP Collective's competitive intelligence service tracks it for clients alongside competitor mentions. Before You Sign: 10 Questions and 6 Red Flags

Ask every shortlisted agency these 10 questions before you sign, and walk away if a proposal shows any of the 6 red flags. Together they are the Reddit Proof Check, run on a live pitch instead of a website.

10 questions to ask:

  1. Which accounts will post about us, who owns them and do we keep them when the contract ends?
  2. Will every post and comment about us carry Reddit's Brand Affiliate tag or come from a labelled brand account?
  3. Will any account you control ever vote on our content? Put the answer in the contract.
  4. Which subreddits will you work in, and can we see your map of each one's rules?
  5. When do you contact moderators, and who approves an AMA before it runs?
  6. What share of posts will link to our site?
  7. Which of our products are eligible for Reddit Ads, and who at Reddit manages restricted accounts?
  8. What does your monthly Reddit report contain? Send an anonymised example.
  9. What was your thread survival rate across the last 90 days?
  10. What would you tell us not to do on Reddit?

The last question is the most useful one on the list. An agency that can't name a single thing to avoid has either never been removed or never noticed.

6 red flags in a Reddit proposal:

  1. Upvotes, "early momentum" or "boosting" anywhere in the scope.
  2. Aged or high-karma accounts offered as a feature, with no disclosure plan attached.
  3. Message quotas per day or week instead of a subreddit plan.
  4. Reddit Ads promised for your token, ICO or IDO.
  5. Guaranteed front-page placement or guaranteed AI citations.
  6. No client you can call about Reddit work specifically.

The first 3 all appeared in our screen of 30 providers, and they are why 3 of those providers didn't make the list.

Request a Reddit Scope From AP Collective

Request a Reddit scope through our community growth service and we will answer the same 10 questions for your project before you commit a budget. It is the same Reddit Proof Check, run on our own proposal.

A Reddit scope from AP Collective covers:

  • The subreddits that matter for your category, with each one's posting rules mapped.
  • An account and disclosure plan: who posts, from which account and how it is labelled.
  • Which of your products Reddit's crypto ads policy lets you advertise.
  • AMA candidates and timing, fronted by a real spokesperson.
  • The monthly report you will receive, from sentiment by subreddit to referral traffic.
  • A 90-day budget with Reddit priced as its own line.

While this is a general overview of usual scopes, it is custom for each client depending on their needs and niche.

The honest limit: we are the wrong partner for a project that wants upvotes, token ads or a Reddit presence without a person behind it.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What does a crypto Reddit marketing agency do?

A crypto Reddit marketing agency plans and runs a project's presence on Reddit. That means choosing subreddits, posting and replying through disclosed accounts, preparing AMAs, running Reddit Ads where the product is eligible and reporting on sentiment and traffic. The better ones map each subreddit's rules before anything is posted.

How much do crypto Reddit marketing agencies cost?

Expect a first engagement of $5,000 to $10,000+ or a bundled monthly package from $7,500, based on public listings checked on September 30, 2026. AP Collective's guide puts agency-run organic Reddit at $2,000 to $6,000 a month across the market. No provider on our list publishes a Reddit-only price, so ask for one.

Can a Reddit agency run ads for my token or ICO?

No. Reddit's financial and cryptocurrency ads policy prohibits ads for single tokens, coins, ICOs, IDOs and other token sales. Exchanges, wallets, staking and NFT products can advertise only with proper licensing and management by a Reddit sales representative. An agency promising token ads on Reddit is a red flag.

Should a Reddit agency post from its own accounts or ours?

Prefer accounts you own or a clearly labelled brand account, with every paid post disclosed. Agency-held accounts leave you without the account history when the contract ends, however aged they are, and they raise disclosure questions. Ask who owns every account before you sign and put the answer in writing.

What is Reddit's Brand Affiliate tag?

The Brand Affiliate tag is Reddit's built-in label for posts and comments that are incentivised or have commercial intent. Reddit's help centre says users are responsible for "providing any required disclosures". Any agency posting about you on your behalf should use it or post from a labelled brand account.

Is buying upvotes through an agency against Reddit's rules?

Yes. Reddit's Disrupting Communities policy bans vote manipulation, including "voting services" and coordinated voting by an organised group. In the US, the FTC's 2024 rule also bans buying fake indicators of social media influence, such as bot-generated followers or views. We found 3 providers selling upvotes or bulk posting and left all 3 off this list.

What should a Reddit agency report every month?

A monthly Reddit report should show thread survival rate, sentiment by subreddit, referral traffic and sign-ups, AI answer citations and the share of posts carrying disclosure. Upvotes, karma and reach matter least. None of the 13 providers we reviewed names thread survival on its own pages, so ask for it.

Can a Reddit agency get my project cited in ChatGPT or Google AI answers?

It can improve the odds but can't guarantee them. Reddit was the most-cited domain overall across ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, AI Overviews and Perplexity in August 2026, yet Semrush saw ChatGPT's Reddit citations fall from close to 60% of responses to around 10% within weeks in 2025. Treat any citation guarantee as a red flag.

How long does a Reddit agency take to show results?

Plan on 90 days. The ramp in AP Collective's crypto Reddit guide gives month 1 to reading communities and month 2 to contributing. Only month 3 asks for conversions. AMAs and Reddit Ads can move faster once a disclosed presence exists.

Is a Reddit agency better than doing Reddit in-house?

Only if nobody on your team has the hours to participate daily. A respected founder or engineer already active in your subreddits usually beats any agency on trust. An agency adds consistency, AMA production and reporting, and it works best alongside that in-house voice.

What are the biggest red flags in a Reddit agency proposal?

6 signs to walk away: upvotes or "early momentum" in the scope; aged accounts with no disclosure plan; message quotas instead of a subreddit plan; Reddit Ads promised for a token; guaranteed front-page placement or AI citations; no client you can call about Reddit work.

How did you choose the agencies on this list?

We screened 30 providers on September 30, 2026 and kept the 13 that document Reddit work and crypto or fintech clients on their own sites and sell no vote manipulation. Each was then compared with the Reddit Proof Check: services, accounts and disclosure, moderators, reporting and evidence. AP Collective sits first as the publisher, and the rest are ordered by what a buyer can verify.

Final Verdict

Choose the agency whose Reddit work you can verify, not the one with the most client logos. On the evidence we found:

  • For Reddit inside a full crypto growth programme, start with AP Collective and ask to see its moderator process and report template.
  • For the most fully documented Reddit specialist, GuerrillaBuzz has the most complete service page and the only client review that mentions Reddit.
  • For Reddit as a search and AI-answer play, look at ICODA and ask how its threads are disclosed.
  • For exchanges and wallets carrying a compliance load, Single Grain's fintech Reddit practice fits best.

Whoever you shortlist, run the Reddit Proof Check on their proposal before you sign. A thread that survives moderation is worth more than any number an agency puts in a deck.

The One-Page Action Spine

  1. Decide which Reddit job you are hiring for before you shortlist anyone.
  2. Check Reddit's ads policy for your product and drop any plan that needs token ads.
  3. Shortlist 3 agencies and run the Reddit Proof Check on each proposal.
  4. Ask the 10 questions and get the account and disclosure answers in writing.
  5. Walk away from any proposal with upvotes, message quotas or guaranteed placements.
  6. Budget 90 days, with Reddit priced as its own line.
  7. Review thread survival, sentiment, referral traffic and AI citations every month.
